Background
Khoj Travels is a curated travel brand focused on designing thoughtful journeys across India for travellers who value depth, comfort, and meaningful discovery. Instead of rushed, checklist-style itineraries, the brand emphasizes where to go, when to go, and how to experience a place well—balancing heritage, culture, nature, and comfortable travel pacing. Its journeys span destinations such as Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, North East India, and Madhya Pradesh.
Objective
To build a brand identity and communication system that positions Khoj Travels as a calm, immersive, and trustworthy travel companion rather than a conventional package-led tour operator. The aim was to express the brand’s promise of thoughtful planning, rewarding discovery, and culturally rich travel through a visual language that feels warm, elevated, and experience-first.

Research
Our starting point was the insight that travel across India can often feel overwhelming because of the sheer diversity of destinations and experiences available. Khoj’s own positioning highlighted a clear opportunity: travellers were not just looking for places to visit, but for journeys shaped around their interests, pace, and comfort. This led us to define the brand around thoughtful destination selection, balanced itineraries, carefully chosen stays, and local cultural insight.

Exploration
The creative direction was built around the idea that every destination has a story and that travel should feel like a meaningful unfolding rather than a hurried plan. We translated this into a brand language that feels reflective, immersive, and inviting—one that could hold together spiritual journeys, adventure routes, nature-led escapes, and heritage-rich experiences under a single, emotionally resonant identity. The visual and verbal system was shaped to make Khoj feel less like a booking service and more like the beginning of a personal travel story.
Application
The final brand expression extends naturally across curated itineraries, destination storytelling, and digital touchpoints. Whether presenting a Varanasi cultural journey, a Spiti Valley expedition, a Meghalaya nature trail, or a Ladakh mountain experience, the identity supports Khoj’s promise of travel that feels calm, immersive, and deeply rewarding. Anchored by founder Akanksha Dvivedi’s vision of travel as a meaningful and transformative experience, the brand comes through as thoughtful, credible, and emotionally rich.
