Desklib
Website Design & Development
Background
Desklib is a global AI-powered academic platform offering tools like AI Grader, Paraphraser, Plagiarism Checker, and Study Documents. Despite its powerful backend and growing user base, the brand’s earlier website lacked clarity, visual appeal, and intuitive flow. With increasing international competition and evolving user behavior, the platform needed a modern and student-friendly interface that reflected its evolving product ecosystem.
Objective
To completely revamp the website from a front-end perspective — including UI/UX, visual storytelling, content flow, and design hierarchy. The goal was to make the platform more intuitive, reduce user drop-offs, and align with global standards in edtech UI. No backend or coding support was involved — our focus was entirely on elevating the interface and experience.
What did we do
We studied handcrafted wellness brands and their emotional appeal, focusing on those that celebrate self-care, femininity, and nature. Moodboards explored keywords like calm, floral, delicate, harmony, and organic. This phase helped us identify visual and verbal cues that set Serenade apart while staying relatable to its target audience: urban women, ages 24–45, who indulge in mindful routines.
Impact
- Complete transformation of UI and user journeys with globally relevant design principles
- Created a clutter-free and modern academic platform interface for students and educators
- Improved visual communication of tools and offerings, reducing cognitive load
- Enabled better country-wise engagement, improved time-on-site and increased sign-up ratios
